Sanctified by the truth

SANCTIFICATION

John 10:36  Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
Sanctified - set apart for specific purpose. Jesus was set apart for you and I. Sanctification is not living above sin as denominations teach.

Jeremiah 1:5  Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.  Jeremiah was sanctified in the womb (he wouldn't have sinned in there). Sanctified = set apart - not holier than you.  Before we were born, God set us apart to be overcomers.  When God needs a man, He calls him. God is calling us to come into the body of Christ and overcomer company.

Galatians 1:15,16  But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: Paul was set apart in his mother's womb. God always had his hand on Saul. Saul persecuted Christians. No matter what we've done, we are sanctified.  We can stand as sanctified to be overcomers.  Don't let the devil condemn you for anything you've done. God has done something in us even if we don't understand it.
  
I Corinthians 1:2  Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:  To them sanctified in Christ - We are set apart, consecrated in Jesus. Our will is not our own. We are subject to a new order.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.  But ye are washed, ye are sanctified. Not one Corinthian lived above sin. But, they were sanctified.  We are sanctified, set apart, and consecrated for God's purposes. Spiritual condition has nothing to do with it! Even when we are sinners.  By the blood of Jesus, The Holy Spirit, and the word of God we are sanctified.  WE ARE moved from darkness to light and set apart.

Ephesians 5:25-27  Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.  Washed by the word, sanctified and cleansed. Many Christians accept the blood, but reject the truth of the word. But, the word sanctifies. They close their hearts to all of the word. The word will set you apart unto the will of God, not man or denomination, the Babylonian system. 

Song of Songs 6:13  Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? As it were the company of two armies. The Shulamite woman- (the perfect or peaceful) must come and the manchild (Revelation 12) will be birthed.  The Spirit-filled group is also part of Babylon-confusion (by mixing) not sanctified.  The word will bring forth the Shulamite woman. People come out of the church for more of Jesus. Denominations try to contain it.  God will bring forth a glorious church through the word of truth that sanctifies us.  

John 17:17-20  Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.  As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.  Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word.  God sanctifies the church; we don't. Know the Word. You'd better know the word and break man's denomination.  Sanctify them through thy truth. Thy word is truth.  Jesus said, I sanctify myself.  Jesus set himself apart. He's the pattern.  We have to sanctify ourselves - yield, take action, authority, and move in it. Don't just believe. Do it. Get out there in it.

2 Chronicles 29:1-5, 34  Hezekiah began to reign when he was five and twenty years old, and he reigned nine and twenty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah. And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father had done. He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of the LORD, and repaired them. And he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the east street, And said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place. ... But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the other priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.
The Levites had already been set apart for God's ministry, but now God said, sanctify yourselves, consecrate yourselves. You have to embrace it and do something. The priests were not priesting. The sons are not son-ing.  The outer court ministry might have to do our job until we sanctify ourselves.  God is admonishing us and urging us to eat and breathe this. We are waiting for more priests when we should be sanctifying ourselves. Step out. The preparation of the offering – that is what we should be doing!

Purpose to set self apart. I know God has sanctified me and now I embrace it.  If you want to do greater works than Jesus (heal, raise the dead, set the captive free, etc.), sanctify yourself.
How?
1. Let the blood of Jesus settle what it needs to.
2. Let the word of God do its work in you.
3. Present yourself every day to the word of God, the blood of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. It will move you into that place.  God sanctified Jesus, Jesus sanctified himself so we could be sanctified. We must be like Jesus and sanctify ourselves!
