The church

Exodus 4:22  – And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:

1 Corinthians 12:12-14  – For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many.

Ephesians 3:14-19  – For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Hebrews 12:22-24  – But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Matthew 6:10  – Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Circumcision of the heart

Romans 2:29 KJV – But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Colossians 2:9-13 KJV – For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

PTL O my soul

Psalm 42:7-11

Deep calleth unto deep

At the noise of thy waterspouts:

All thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.

Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness

In the daytime,

And in the night

His song shall be with me,

And my prayer unto the God of my life.

I will say unto God my rock,

Why hast thou forgotten me?

Why go I mourning

Because of the oppression of the enemy?

As with a sword in my bones,

Mine enemies reproach me;

While they say daily unto me,

Where is thy God?

Why art thou cast down,

O my soul?

And why art thou disquieted within me?

Hope thou in God:

For I shall yet praise him,

Who is the health of my countenance,

And my God.

PTL His mercy endures forever

all things2 Chronicles 20:20-25

And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another. And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped. And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.

Praise the Lord

eaglesIsaiah 25:8-9

He will swallow up death in victory;

And the Lord GOD

Will wipe away tears from off all faces;

And the rebuke of his people

Shall he take away from off all the earth:

For the LORD hath spoken it.

And it shall be said in that day,

Lo, this is our God;

We have waited for him,

And he will save us:

This is the LORD;

We have waited for him,

We will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Be patient

James 5:7-8

Be patient therefore, brethren,

Unto the coming of the Lord.

Behold, the husbandman waiteth

For the precious fruit of the earth,

And hath long patience for it,

Until he receive the early and latter rain.

Be ye also patient;

Stablish your hearts:

For the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
