God is always merciful.
Exodus 25:21-22 And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee. And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.
1 Chronicles 16:34 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy (Heb. hesed- goodness, kindness, faithfulness) endureth for ever. (Heb. olam- always)
1 Chronicles 16:41 And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever;

Matthew 5:43-45 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. Isaiah 54:7-9 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
Hebrews 12:6-10 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Hebrews 4:15-16 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne (Gk. thronos- throne seat) of grace (Gk. charis- joy, pleasure, delight, sweetness, charm, lovliness), that we may obtain mercy (Gk. eleos- kindness, good will), and find grace to help in time of need.
Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet (Gk. Tameion- a secret chamber), and when thou hast shut thy door (to the world), pray to thy Father which is IN SECRET; and thy Father which SEETH IN SECRET shall reward thee openly.
1 John 1:3-5 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship (communion) with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
