God is loving and faithful

For thou art an holy people
Unto the LORD thy God:
The LORD thy God hath chosen thee
To be a special people
Unto himself,
Above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
The LORD did not set his love upon you,
Nor choose you,
Because ye were more in number than any people;
For ye were the fewest of all people:
But because the LORD loved you,
And because he would keep the oath
Which he had sworn unto your fathers,
Hath the LORD brought you out
With a mighty hand,
And redeemed you
Out of the house of bondmen,
From the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
Know therefore
That the LORD thy God,
He is God,
The faithful God,
Which keepeth covenant
And mercy
With them that love him
And keep his commandments
To a thousand generations;
John 4:13,14; Song of Solomon 4:12-16

Jesus answered and said unto her,
Whosoever drinketh of this water
Shall thirst again:
But whosoever drinketh of the water
That I shall give him
Shall never thirst;
But the water
That I shall give him
Shall be in him
A well of water
Springing up
Into everlasting life.
A garden inclosed
Is my sister,
My spouse;
A spring shut up,
A fountain sealed.
Thy plants
Are an orchard of pomegranates,
With pleasant fruits;
Camphire, with spikenard,
Spikenard and saffron;
Calamus and cinnamon,
With all trees of frankincense;
Myrrh and aloes,
With all the chief spices:
A fountain of gardens,
A well of living waters,
And streams from Lebanon.
Awake, O north wind;
And come, thou south;
Blow upon my garden,
That the spices thereof
May flow out.
Let my beloved
Come into his garden,
And eat his pleasant fruits.
The Lord be glorified

The first of all the commandments is,
Hear, O Israel;
The Lord our God is one Lord:
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God
With all thy heart,
And with all thy soul,
And with all thy mind,
And with all thy strength:
This is the first commandment.
And the second is like,
Namely this,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour
As thyself.
There is none other commandment
Greater than these.
Say Continually;
The Lord be glorified!
The Lord is our helper

Every place
That the sole of your foot
Shall tread upon,
That have I given unto you,
As I said unto Moses.
This book of the law
Shall not depart out of thy mouth;
But thou shalt meditate therein
Day and night,
That thou mayest observe to do
According to all that is written therein:
For then thou shalt make thy way prosperous,
And then thou shalt have good success.
Have not I commanded thee?
Be strong and of a good courage;
Be not afraid,
Neither be thou dismayed:
For the LORD thy God is with thee
Whithersoever thou goest.
He made us one

Now there stood by the cross of Jesus
His mother,
And his mother’s sister,
Mary the wife of Cleophas,
And Mary Magdalene.
When Jesus therefore saw his mother,
And the disciple standing by,
Whom he loved,
He saith unto his mother,
Woman, behold thy son!
Then saith he to the disciple,
Behold thy mother!
And from that hour that disciple
Took her unto his own home.
One in Christ

For I am persuaded,
That neither death, nor life,
Nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers,
Nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth,
Nor any other creature,
Shall be able to separate us
From the love of God,
Which is in Christ Jesus
Our Lord.
I will be their God

Genesis 17:1-8; Revelation 21:3
And when Abram was ninety years old
and nine,
The LORD appeared to Abram,
And said unto him,
I am the Almighty God;
Walk before me,
And be thou perfect.
And I will make my covenant
Between me and thee,
And will multiply thee exceedingly.
And Abram fell on his face:
And God talked with him, saying,
As for me,
Behold, my covenant is with thee,
And thou shalt be a father
Of many nations.
Neither shall thy name
Any more be called Abram,
But thy name shall be Abraham;
For a father of many nations
Have I made thee.
And I will make thee exceeding fruitful,
And I will make nations of thee,
And kings shall come out of thee.
And I will establish my covenant
Between me and thee
And thy seed after thee
In their generations
For an everlasting covenant,
To be a God unto thee,
And to thy seed after thee.
And I will give unto thee,
And to thy seed after thee,
The land wherein thou art a stranger,
All the land of Canaan,
For an everlasting possession;
And I will be their God.
And I heard a great voice
Out of heaven saying,
Behold, the tabernacle of God
Is with men,
And he will dwell with them,
And they shall be his people,
And God himself
Shall be with them,
And be their God.
John 3:16; I John 2:1,2

For God so loved the world,
That he gave his only begotten Son,
That whosoever believeth
In him should not perish,
But have everlasting
My little children,
These things write I unto you,
That ye sin not.
And if any man sin,
We have an advocate with the Father,
Jesus Christ the righteous:
And he is the propitiation for our sins:
And not for ours only,
But also
For the sins
Of the whole world.
Matthew 6:14,15; I John 1:9; Psalm 23:3

For if ye forgive men their trespasses,
Your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses,
Neither will your Father
Forgive your trespasses.
If we confess our sins,
He is faithful and just
To forgive us our sins,
And to cleanse us
From all unrighteousness.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths
Of righteousness
For his name’s sake.
Deuteronomy 4:5,6; 30:11-14

Behold,
I have taught you statutes and judgments,
Even as the LORD my God commanded me,
That ye should do so
In the land whither ye go
To possess it.
Keep therefore and do them;
For this is your wisdom
And your understanding
In the sight of the nations,
Which shall hear all these statutes,
And say,
Surely this great nation is a wise
And understanding people.
For this commandment
Which I command thee this day,
It is not hidden from thee,
Neither is it far off.
It is not in heaven,
That thou shouldest say,
Who shall go up for us to heaven,
And bring it unto us,
That we may hear it, and do it?
Neither is it beyond the sea,
That thou shouldest say,
Who shall go over the sea for us,
And bring it unto us,
That we may hear it, and do it?
But the word is very nigh unto thee,
In thy mouth,
And in thy heart,
That thou mayest do it.
Isaiah 1:24-26

Therefore saith the Lord,
The LORD of hosts,
The mighty One of Israel,
Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries,
And avenge me of mine enemies:
And I will turn my hand upon thee,
And purely purge away thy dross,
And take away all thy tin:
And I will restore thy judges
As at the first,
And thy counsellors
As at the beginning:
Afterward thou shalt be called,
The city of righteousness,
The faithful city.
So we,
