Praise God for his counsel and he will advise you. Praise God for his understanding and he will give you understanding.
Psalm 16:7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
Psalm 42:7 Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.
Psalm 47:7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
Psalm 119:171 My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes (rules).
Psalm 119:7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
Psalm 111:1, 9-10 Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation. … He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
Psalm 56:4, 10 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. … In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word.
Jesus approves of praise and God seeks true worshipers.
Matthew 21:8-9, 16 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. … And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
Luke 19:35-40 And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon. And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way. John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

Hebrews 12:28-29 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.
