Thy will be done

Luke 11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

Luke 22:41-42 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

2 Timothy 2:25-26 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his (Satan’s) will.

Psalm 40:8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

Hebrews 13:20-21 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

With Christ

With Christ in Paradise

Luke 23:39-43 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

All the characters that were in the Garden of Eden are represented at Calvary where Jesus was crucified. God is represented by Jesus. Satan is represented by the thief that mocked Jesus just as he did when he tempted Jesus in the wilderness “If thou be the Son of God…If thou be Christ…” (Matthew 4:3). And mankind (Adam and Eve) are represented by the thief that rebuked Satan, feared God, confessed his guilt, believed that Jesus is Lord, and humbled himself and asked Jesus to remember him when he comes into his kingdom. Then Jesus promises him that today he will be with him in paradise.

Crucified, buried, and resurrected with Christ

John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

Romans 6:5-6, 8 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. … Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live (Gr. zao); yet not I (Gr. ego), but Christ liveth (zao) in me: and the life which I (zao) now live in the flesh I live (zao) by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Here in Galatians two different Greek words are translated into our English pronoun “I”. Zao- to live, breathe, to be among the living; and Ego- I, me, my. Praise Jesus! Zao is a new living creation.

Paradise with Christ in the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Steps to paradise

Jesus opened the door to paradise for us at Calvary. He could have said to the thief that he is born again because he feared God, rebuked Satan, confessed his sin, and believed that Jesus is Lord. But he said today you will be with me in paradise. Could this be an example for us today? Paradise is awarded to overcomers in Revelation chapters two and three. What do overcomers do?  They rebuke Satan.  They resist the Devil. They humble themselves and stand strong in their faith.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by (faith) the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Genesis 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

Genesis 3:22-23 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

Overcomers eat of the tree of life.

Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Overcomers will sit with Jesus in His throne.

Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Unity of the church in heaven and earth.

Hebrews 11:39-12:2 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Paradise is a spiritual quality of life.

All the characters involved in the garden of Eden met again at the cross! In Eden there was God, Satan, and mankind. At the cross there was God (Jesus), the malefactor that Satan spoke through as he did when he tempted Jesus in the wilderness (if thou be Christ), and the malefactor that said, “Remember me…” (mankind). The first man Adam (mankind) feared god, rebuked Satan, confessed his guilt, believed that Jesus is Lord, and humbled himself and asked the second man Adam (Jesus) to remember him. He was asking Jesus to restore him to Paradise. Then Jesus said, “To day thou shalt be with me in paradise.”

Praise Jesus! What a conversion. What a restoration God has planned for the overcomers and all of His creation.

Romans 8:19-25 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

1 Corinthians 15:45-49 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Psalm 90:1-3 Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.

The strong man of divination and familiar spirit.

1 Samuel 28:7-8 Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor. And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee.

Deuteronomy 18:9-12 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

Divination the practice of attempting to foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge by occult or supernatural means. The pagan counterpart of genuine prophesy inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Familiar spirit– also called a personal spirit guide. A servant to be summoned at will and is often passed down in a family.

These two spirits are closely related. Divination is aided and energized by familiar spirits.

Manifestations, or evidence of a strong man of divination and familiar spirit;

Diviner– a witch or wizard.

Soothsayer– observer of times, almanac, horoscope.

Enchanter– magician.

Witch, or wizard– one who practices witchcraft and sorcery.

Hypnotist– a charmer.

Medium– to consult with familiar spirits.

Clairvoyant– a witch or wizard.

Necromancer– one who consults with the dead.

Conjurer– one who summons, or commands a demon to appear.

Star gazer– one who studies the stars and worships them.

Astrologers– those used to foretell the future. Isaiah 47:13 Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.

Belomancy– divination with the use of arrows. Ezekiel 21:21 For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver.

Water witching– divination with the use of a rod. Hosea 4:12 My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.

Splanchnomancy– divination by inspection of intestines or liver. Ezekiel 21:21 KJV – For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver.

Teraphim– images consulted for advise. Judges 17:5 And the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.

Mutterer– one who communicates with the familiar spirit as if talking to himself.

Ventriloquist– a person who throws his voice.  Isaiah 8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?  Isaiah 29:4 And thou shalt be brought down, and shalt speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.

Fortunetelling– foretelling the future with such objects as crystal balls, cards, Ouija boards, tea leaves, etc.  Anything used to provide an answer.

Anything worn to avert an ill occurrence or provide good luck such as a rabbit’s foot, good luck charms, or a cross.

Sorcery– to recite a magic verse, cast a spell, or put in a trance.

Peeping Tom, mimicry, and pantomime can also be a manifestation of a familiar spirit.

God’s remedy;

Acts 16:16-18 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

The strong man of perversion.

Isaiah 19:14 The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.

Perverse– to willfully go counter to what is expected.  Against true righteousness and holiness. Against life. Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Manifestations, or evidence of the strong man of perversion;

Wounded spirit– Proverbs 15:4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

Snare, falling into mischief– Proverbs 17:20, 23 He that hath a froward heart findeth no good: and he that hath a perverse tongue falleth into mischief. … A wicked man taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment.

Error– Isaiah 19:14 The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.

Hate– Proverbs 14:2 He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.

Fool– Proverbs 19:1 Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

Despised– Proverbs 12:8 A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.

Lust– Proverbs 23:33 Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.

Fret against the Lord– Proverbs 19:3 The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD.

Pervert the Gospel to Satan’s advantage, misinterpretation– 2 Peter 3:16-17 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

Child of the devil– Acts 13:10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

Lovers of self– 2 Timothy 3:1-2  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

False teachers– 2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

All rebellion and sexual perversion– Romans 1:18, 21-32 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; … Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

God’s remedy;

Break ties with the strong spirit of perversion. Bind him and cast him down and out of your life. 1 John 1:9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The strong man of whoredoms.

Hosea 4:12 My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.

Manifestations of the spirit of whoredoms;

Whoredom– An act of leaving God’s covering. A backsliding Christian. Ezekiel 16:15 But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was.

Harlotry– a prostitute, to sell love for a price. Ezekiel 16:28 Thou hast played the whore also with the Assyrians, because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied.

Idolatry– an image, or false god, an object of strong affection for. Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Some of the things a spirit of whoredom would cause a person to prostitute himself for are;

The love of the world– 2 Timothy 4:10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

Love of position and social standingMatthew 23:6-7 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.

Love of money– 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Love of food– those who serve their own belly. Romans 16:18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. 1 Corinthians 6:13-17 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

Love of the human body– All types of sexual sin exalting the human body.  Philippians 3:18-19  (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

God’s remedy;

Bind the strong man of whoredom and cast him out. Send it out of your life. 2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Introduction to overcomers

We are called not only to preach the gospel but also to cast out devils and heal the sick.

Matthew 10:1, 7-8 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. … And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.  2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The scriptures reveal our enemies and give us directions on how to overcome them.

Matthew 12:28-30 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. Psalm 149:8-9 To bind their kings (strong men) with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written (the word of God): this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD. 2 Corinthians 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

The strong men of Satan are classified in the scriptures and we must learn to bind them and cast them down to become overcomers. Demon spirits are living evil agents sent from Satan only to steal, kill, and destroy.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

They have all the characteristics of an intelligent being.

Matthew 12:43-45 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation. Mark 1:23-24 And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. Mark 3:10-11 For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues. And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God. Praise Jesus!

Try the spirits and know them by their fruits.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Matthew 7:16-20 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Try everything by the word of God.

Isaiah 8:19-20 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

We are not alone. We have help from God and one another.

John 15:26-27 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.  Hebrews 12:22-24 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things (interceding for us) than that of Abel. Hebrews 1:13-14 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? We are to send forth the help of ministering heavenly hosts of God; messaging, ministering, warring angels. The Spirit of adoption– Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The spirit of grace and supplication– Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

We are alive in heavenly places and in spiritual unity with the church in heaven that is not limited by the natural things of this physical world!

Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:  Luke 10:20  Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Be aware of all the players on both teams; God the Father, Jesus the Son, the Holy Spirit, angels, redeemed man, Satan, and demons. Learn to bind the strong man and cast him out or he will be able to accomplish his evil mission.

2 Timothy 2:25-26 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

There are three armies on the spiritual battlefield;

The spirit of bondage- Satan’s army

The Spirit of adoption- God’s army

The children of God- The church on earth that chooses to be strong and bind satanic activity and loosen the love and power of God. Praise the Lord.

Jesus is Lord of all.

Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Revelation 5:3, 13 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. … And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

Choose to glorify God and be an overcomer, a winner, more than a conqueror.

Do not be passive. We are to take the kingdom by force, the glorious power of God! Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word (of God) their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Psalm 149:8-9 To bind their kings (strong men) with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written (the word of God): this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

Promises to the overcomers;

Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 26-28 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. … He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. … He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. … And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. And I will give him the morning star. Revelation 3:5, 12, 21 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. … Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. … To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. Revelation 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

All this to accomplish the fervent desire of God’s heart. That Jesus may be the firstbotn among many brethren.

Romans 8:28-29 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Hebrews 2:10-13 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me

Praise the Lord Jesus!

The strong man of jealousy.

Numbers 5:14 And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:

Manifestations, or evidence of the strong man of jealousy;

Jealousy– resentment, fear of rivalry, suspicious, coveting. Psalm 37:1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

Murder– Genesis 4:8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

Anger– Genesis 4:5-6 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

Rage, wrath, revenge, spite– Proverbs 6:34 For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance.

Hate– Genesis 37:3-4, 8 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours. And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him. … And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.

Cruelty– Song of Songs 8:6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.

Competition, emulation, selfishness, variance, disagreement– Genesis 4:4-5 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.  Numbers 5:12-14 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man’s wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him, And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner; And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled: The woman was only suspected of infidelity. There were no witnesses. But the spirit of jealousy came upon her husband. Jealousy destroys relationships and Christian unity. John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

God’s remedy;

Bind the strong spirit of jealousy.  Bind him and cast him down. Send him out of your life.  Be honest, confess, forgive, and love.  John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins. Ephesians 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. THE LOVE CHAPTER- 1 Corinthians 13. Read and meditate on theses scriptures every day and ask God to help you live it. PTL!

The strong man of the dumb and deaf spirit.

Manifestations, or evidence of the strong man of the dumb and deaf spirit;

Speech and hearing problems, lunatic, epilepsy, wallowing, suicidal tendencies, convulsions, seizures, gnashing (gritting) teeth, foaming at the mouth, insanity, madness, hydrophobia, schizophrenia, blindness, eye disease– Mark 9:17-29 And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit; And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not. He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me. And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming. And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child. And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead. But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose. And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. Matthew 12:22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.  Mark 7:32-35 And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him. And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue; And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened. And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain. Luke 9:39, 42 And, lo, a spirit taketh him, and he suddenly crieth out; and it teareth him that he foameth again, and bruising him hardly departeth from him. … And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and tare him. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father.

One evil spirit causing many problems. Epilepsy is one of the manifestations of a deaf and dumb (strong man) spirit. Webster defines the symptoms- seizures, fits, convulsive, motions of the muscles, and the loss of consciousness. Bind the strong man of the dumb and deaf spirit and cast it out and pray for the healing of an epileptic. Praise the Lord. Jesus stresses the importance of faith and fasting when dealing with this strongest of all spirits. Mark 9:23, 29 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. … And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

Be a good Samaritan. Cast out the devil and pray for the healing of the person. Healing is not always instantaneous. Matthew 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of diseaseLuke 10:30-37 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves (evil spirits) which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

The strong man of infirmity.

Luke 13:11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

Manifestations, or evidence of the strong man of infirmity.

Hunchback, frail, impotent, or weak– Luke 13:11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

Malady– a lingering, deep-seated disorder. John 5:5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

Colds, fever, or viruses; Rebuke the fever in the name of Jesus. Luke 4:39 And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them. Acts 28:8  And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him. Combat viruses by building up immunity (resistance to disease) in the body. The bible gives this advise. James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 1 Peter 5:8-9 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

All sickness and all disease– Matthew 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

God’s remedy;

Bind the spirit of infirmity and cast him out. Then pray for healing. Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

The strong man of lying.

2 Chronicles 18:22 Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil against thee.

Manifestations, or evidence of the strong man of lying;

Lies– strong delusion, a false, harmful impression. A deceived condition of belief in a lie. The substitution of the truth with a counterfeit. 2 Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Insinuation– To imply, or assume a false appearance. Pretense of what is not. An indirect hint or suggestion.

Exaggeration– the truth plus more of the story.

Flattery– false, or insincere praise. Flattery works divination and vain vision in the household of God. Ezekiel 12:24 For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel. The anticrist will obtain the kingdom by flatteries! Daniel 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

Vain babbling– excessive talking, gossip, and idle words. Say what you mean and nothing more. An insinuation is of a lying tongue, a talebearer. Matthew 12:35-37 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Profanity– 1 Timothy 4:7 But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. 1 Timothy 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: 2 Timothy 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

Hypocrisy– to play a part, simulate goodness to be seen of men. Matthew 6:1-2 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Old wives’ tales– fairy tales, Santa Claus, Easter bunny. 1 Timothy 4:7 But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

Superstitions– anything that could bring good luck or bad luck.

Vain imaginations– vain imaginations or notions. Jeremiah 23:16-17 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD. They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.  2 Peter 1:16  For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

Our faith is in the word of God!  Bind that lying spirit and cast him down to the deep. Send him out of your life. John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
